Employee Mental health with counselor Joan Monahan

We've been wanting to talk about mental health on this podcast and today's guest really opened up that world for us.  Joan Monahan has over 2 decades of experience in counseling and her approach using humor and a very laid back style are great for her clients.  She was able to discuss clues managers can look for, how to start dialogue, and some common mental health issues she has seen in her practice and how things have changed over time.  Joan was a superb guest and has so much insight into the often un-discussed world of mental health and how she's working to normalize those discussions.
